Hot hot hot!

The weather now is hot, it is really nice outside, and nothing feels better than running with the sun warming you, ofcourse its much harder running when its this hot, atleast for the hydration part.

So, my running is picking up, me, my mum and my sister is running a 10k this september, in the Oslo maraton. We are running on the Grete Waitz team - Active against cancer. Today everything fell in place. Our entrance fee is payed and the hotel is booked, now what is still to be done is to whip ourselves in shape ;)

So today I went for my fourth run this week, so far the longest and hardest. I actually went for a 10k run, 1 hour 16 minutes, I ran without stopping, so I'm quite proud. Although I know that my time is not the best in the world, but I am getting better stronger faster and leaner! Still a long time to go before september is here...

Long time no post!

I am really bad at this blogging thing... But I am considering starting to use my english blog as my training/running blog... My new goal is to get in shape, I have found a new love for running. Currently I am reading a lot of forums and all that, and I can say that I am getting nowhere near to the miles/kilometers those guys and ladies are running. I am not going to measure myself up to that, because everybody started somewhere, if I push myself to hard in the beginning my body is going to protest real hard back! So I am going in my own pace, taking one step and one run at a time... :)

When I was younger (5 years ago) I HATED running, but also I hated everything that made me sweat. Today this is totally turned around.

At the time I am not a fast runner, or a good runner, but I have the motivation and the will. So with time I am going to improve my times and the lenght of my runs! So this is kind of the start of my journey! Its going to be a great one... Feel free to join me :)
